I am one of those happy few who wakes up every Monday to Friday and gets ready to head to work whistling a jaunty little tune. Now, don't get me wrong, if its cold out or if I had a late night, sometimes it is hard to get out of bed. But I can honestly say that I don't suffer from the agony of not wanting to go to work. Ever. I think it is because I like my job. Truly, I do. I like the people I work with, I like my little office where I drink my tea and listen to my radio. I like marketing. I like selling what I sell. I like talking to my customers.
Most of this is because I like the products I sell. I believe in them. I believe that if I convince you to use on of our liquid solar pool covers and I helping to make the world a better place.
I'm not stopping world hunger, curing cancer, or saving the whales, perhaps. But I am doing my part for the environment. Our products are biodegradable, They save energy and water. They also stop people from purchasing vast quantities of plastic (bubble blankets) which is going to eventually end up in a land fill somewhere.
In addition to that, I know I am helping to make my customers happy because they no longer have to fight with plastic pool blankets day in and day out. They can swim in warmer water. Their risk of heart attack from opening their energy bill is decreased. They are happier. So I am happier.
So you see, my happiness in life is directly influenced by the happiness of my customers. To me, I would find it safe to say that there is a lot riding on your success. Your happiness and mine. And the health of the environment.
So, I want to help you understand what success can mean if you choose a liquid solar pool cover. Or perhaps you already have, and you just don't know what “success” translates into. So hear is a little break down of what you can expect to see:
If you heat your pool:
Heatsavr and Ecosavr have been tested and proven to cut back 15 -40% of the cost of heating a pool. If you operate a commercial pool and the heat source is specific to your pool, you should be able to see these results by looking at your energy bill. However, in many many cases the energy usage for heating your swimming pool, residential or commercial, is combined with the heating of water and air for the rest of your home or facility. Today, I would like to share a story with you. Because results don't lie. And results straight from people using the product, folks just like you, are even more fun to read. Because they're real.
So, I would like to share the story of J.W., a property Manager in Southern California. He cares for a 1200 square foot Infinity Edge pool that is heated to 80 degrees year round. Year round. Did you get that? Sure, in the summer of Southern California that may not take much, but in the winter? It still get's cold there! In fact, he reports using 3,685 therms at $1.49 a therm from January through March, 2008. Doing the math, here, that works out to a whopping $5,490.65 US Dollars spent on heating a pool for 3 months.
Want the good news? J.W. tried Heatsavr this year, and for the exact same 3 month period he used on 2,929 therms. That is 756 therms less than the previous year and, had the gas rate stayed the same it would translate into a savings of $1,126.44. Nice, hey? Please take a minute to consider the follow questions, answering only yes or no:
- Do you have a swimming pool? If yes, keep reading. If no, you have the wrong blog...
